The hapless couple who were caught on camera staring as their Royal Caribbean cruise ship left without them have been revealed as a Costa Rican actress and her husband.

Maria Gonzalez Roesch and Alessandro Di Palma were left stranded when they arrived just minutes after their ship Symphony of the Seas left Nassau, Bahamas, on February 15.

Mrs Roesch, 26, took to Instagram to reveal to her followers that it was her in the hilarious clip, which showed the couple looking devastated.

She shared several screenshots of articles about the video, joking that they were 'vacay goals' and complaining that the video had gone viral.
