The director of two firms which made over 200 MILLION unsolicited phone-calls about PPI has been banned from running a company for eight years today.
Richard Jones, 31, has been branded 'one of the worst offenders in the 15 years since laws around electronic nuisance marketing were introduced.'
He was the director of Miss-Sold Products UK and Your Money Rights - each fined £350,000 by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
The two companies, run by Jones, from Carmarthen in Wales, made 221 million calls about PPI.
He has now been banned for eight years from acting as a director of a company or take part, directly or indirectly, in the promotion, formation or management of a company or limited liability partnership or be a receiver of a company's property.
