Video shows cops shooting dead woman who was stabbing her therapist

Police bodycam footage has been released showing the moment two officers shot dead a woman who was stabbing her therapist. 

Katherine Brazeau, 46, violated a restraining order filed by her therapist Jacki Stevens when she went to her office in Los Angeles armed with a hunting knife in May last year. 

Surveillance footage, the 911 audio and bodycam footage related to the deadly incident was only released on Thursday as the Orange County District Attorney's Office announced the two officers had been cleared of any wrongdoing. 

Brazeau was captured on surveillance video walking into her therapist's office on the morning of May 31 carrying the huge knife in her hand. 

Moments later the therapist frantically called 911 and screamed that she had been stabbed. 

'I've been stabbed,' the therapist could be heard yelling in a recording of the 911 call.
