A California grandmother allegedly drowned her grandson hours after his birth, later wrapping him in a bag and burying him in the backyard to 'prevent family shame', court documents say.
Beant Kaur Dhillon, 43, is accused of a number of charges including first-degree murder after her 15-year-old daughter suddenly gave birth at their Bakersfield home, in November.
Dhillon pleaded not guilty to all charges on Thursday afternoon. She's expected to reappear in court next week.
