A Chilean paraglider taught his pet hawk how to fly by taking him into he skies as he trained.   

Ariel Marinkovic holds his flight partner, a ten-month-old Harris's hawk (Parabuteo unicinctus), during his training sessions.

These stunning images show him training in Santiago in January this year. 

'Hook' is the young falcon who learnt to fly in the shadow of his owner's paraglider in the hills surrounding the Chilean capital. 

Flying in perfect symbiosis they look like a match made in heaven. 

Stunning pictures show Hook sticking by Ariel's side as he glides through the air. They also show the moment the bird gently caresses Ariel with his beak. 

Their bond is apparent as they are never too far
