A loyal husky died while saving his owners after a fire broke out in their apartment building in New York.

The two-alarm fire broke out on the second floor of a five-story building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side at 1.35 am, FDNY said.

Quinn Demarest and Monica Molina, who are engaged to be married, were sleeping in their first-floor apartment when their beloved dog Rikku came into the bedroom to wake them up and alert them to the blaze.
