Police are hunting for two people following a theft of a £25,000 white gold watch from a small-scale business.

The man and woman entered Carter Marsh & Co fine clock and watch antique store in Winchester, Hampshire, on March 1 requesting to look at a Patek Philippe watch.

CCTV then showed the couple leaving the store after they were informed by staff that they could not pay for the item in cash.

Soon after the couple left the store, staff realised the watch was missing and raised the alarm.
