Allan Donald came top in the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year contest with his portfolio of three evocative pictures shot in the Highlands.
He beat off strong competition from thousands of entries submitted by photographers from across the globe to win the prestigious title. He had been taking pictures of the mountains for 15 years but purely as a means of documenting his trips.
