A portable cabin has delayed motorway drivers after it blew off the side of a truck onto a busy bridge.

Highway workers today responded to reports of a wooden shed dangling off the side of the Ouse Bridge in East Yorkshire. 

Incredible footage from a passing car shows the flimsy structure moving in the high winds on the westbound side of the M62.

Drivers are seen moving out of coned-off lanes on the major river crossing to avoid debris surrounding the structure.

One shocked passenger can be heard saying 'oh my god' as their car goes past the unusual obstacle.

On the other side of the low metal railings the wooden structure is seen resting on is a 30 metre (98ft) drop to certain destruction. 

Drivers move out of the inside lanes as the strange sight of a shed blown onto the railings of the Ouse Bridge comes into view

The incident caused a build up of traffic as highway workers attempted to secure the structure
