Climate change protesters have poured 200 litres of fake blood outside Downing Street, covering children in the red liquid.
Around 400 members of Extinction Rebellion protesting the Government's inaction on environmental matters marched from Parliament Square and Trafalgar Square armed with buckets of fake blood.
Police watching the protests did not make any arrests as the protesters wanted to make 'viscerally clear' the seriousness of potential ecological dangers.
