Charismatic Australian F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo has every reason to keep smiling after his massive pay packet for Renault was recently revealed.
The Perth born Ricciardo, 29, shifted from Red Bull Racing in the off-season, feeling it was the opportune time to lead a team on the rise.
His new reported salary was also a significant factor - Ricciardo is now earning a staggering $49millon a season after penning a two-year deal with Renault.
With the head turning dollars comes expectation - not that the laid back Ricciardo is concerned.
