A father who repeatedly raped his daughter before threatening to kill her when he learned she had a boyfriend has been jailed for 12 years.
He abused his nine-year-old daughter over a four-year-period across Queensland in Mackay, Hervey Bay and Gympie until he was arrested in December 2017.
The abuse increased when the the father learned his daughter had a boyfriend. He grabbed her by the throat and threatened to kill her and her harm her with a knife, Mackay District Court was told.
The man pleaded guilty to rape, incest and maintaining a relationship
