The notoriously private 77-year-old purchased the home for just $105,000 in 1979 and has since scooped up surrounding properties - turning it into a compound with the main home sprawling 6,000 square feet with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
It seems even the music legend realizes that times are a-changing and is renovating the roof and installed solar panels, a trampoline, a basketball court, as well updated the outdoor pool with rock features.
But Dylan has kept to his folk roots and has a quaint, rickety wood paneled cabin on his estate, with a small boat dumped in the backyard.
Dylan is known to have six children, including with first wife Sara Lownds and his secret wife Carolyn Dennis, and has several grandchildren, who are said to spend time with him over the summer at his Malibu home.
