A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the attempted murder after he allegedly launched a horrific attack on an 83-year-old man.
The teenager allegedly assaulted the elderly man and two other people at random after he drove to a house at 10:15pm on Friday.
The three victims were attacked in their car in Tamborine Close in Palmerston, Canberra's north.
