 A runaway teenage girl, 15 was raped at her school by a 39-year-old man as his friend, 33, demanded sex from her younger 14-year-old friend.

Paul Clement and William L'Homme paid £90 for a taxi to visit the 15-year-old girl and her younger friend at 2am, after meeting them on the social media app Whisper, a court heard.

Clement, 39, gave the girls, who had run away from their homes,  a long-stemmed red rose before 'pestering' them to perform sex acts in the grounds of their school on May 24, 2017.

A jury heard that when the girls refused, Clement said they were not being fair after they had paid £90 for the 45-mile taxi journey.

Prosecutor Andrew Davies said: 'The defendants had been out in Cardiff city centre drinking into the early hours.

'They used the social media app Whisper to contact the girls and thought there was the ability to have sex with them.

'They took a taxi to Swansea where they met the two schoolgirls.
