A young girl whose burglary career began aged 11 has admitted to ransacking three homes over 12 days in a summer holiday crime spree.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, targeted three homes in just 12 days from late July to August last year, in the resort town Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
She appeared at Basildon Magistrates' Court earlier this month, which was sitting as the South Essex Youth Court, and admitted to three counts of burglary.
Despite the seriousness of the crimes, her young age meant she was referred the Southend youth offender panel on a six month contract.
