A benefits cheat who claimed £12,000 from taxpayers by claiming she could hardly walk but was caught out when she showed off her dog at Crufts will now have to pay back the cash.
Linda Avery, from Plymouth, Devon, was photographed at the show with a collie while pocketing the highest rate of disability benefit, a court was told.
Investigators also tailed the 57-year-old to a Devon event where they filmed her lifting and preparing dogs for the ring.
Her condition had improved to such an extent she was able to 'run dogs around rings' at the high-profile event.
She was paid money she was not entitled over nearly two years, Plymouth Crown Court was told.
