Homophobic fliers targeting lesbian mayoral candidate Lori Lightfoot have been posted in Chicago's South Side.
The double-sided leaflets, distributed at black churches in the city, claim the first openly-gay mayor candidate will, if elected, assign jobs exclusively to gay people.
One side of the flyers features a photo of the candidate with her wife Amy Eshleman with a message that reads: 'The Gay Equality Act! It's our turn. 1st openly gay woman in City Hall.'
The other side reads: 'All contracts, jobs and employment newly assigned exclusively to gay people!'
