The Northeast will kick off its spring season this weekend with a gloomy deluge of heavy rain and in some states, snow.
Wednesday marked the first day of spring and while most of the Northeast enjoyed blue skies for the new season, a nor'easter storm is forecast to bring an inch of rain, whipping winds and flurries to high-terrain areas.
The low pressure nor'easter storm will develop along the Carolina coast on Wednesday evening, dropping heavy rain in the area before spiraling upwards and intensifying near the Eastern Seaboard.
