A Virginia school resource officer has been suspended after it was revealed he was secretly an organizer for white supremacy group Identity Evropa.
Police officer Daniel Morley, 31, was a named the School Resource Officer for L.C. Bird High School in August 2018, but was suspended this week after it was revealed he was a pledge coordinator for the neo-Nazi group.
His affiliation to the white power group was unearthed in an investigation led by anti-fascist activists who scoured through thousands of leaked messages that were posted online by independent media organization Unicorn Riot.
Morley was suspended from his job at the high school and Chesterfield County Police Chief Jeffrey Katz recommended he be fired after he completes a state-mandated disciplinary process, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
