A mechanic has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a second-grade teacher earlier this year, prosecutors have said.
Ibn Collins, a 39-year-old from Linden, New Jersey, was allegedly intoxicated when he mowed down Meghan Crilly as she and three friends crossed an intersection in the early hours of January 20.
Authorities allege Collins has spent the past two months quietly patching up his Jeep in his garage, in a bid to destroy the evidence and evade justice.
