A 33-year-old stepfather who sexually abused a ten-year-old girl after a work Christmas party has been jailed for just one year.
The man, who had been a stepfather to the girl since she was one-year-old, was sentenced in Queensland's Rockhampton District Court on Wednesday.
In 2017, the 33-year-old put his hand in her underpants and touched her bottom as he carried the half-asleep child from the car to her bedroom, Sunshine Coast Daily reported.
