A California woman has been charged with the attempted premeditated murder of her husband, who is not expected to survive, after she allegedly shot him on Saturday.

Paul Shatswell, 45, was alleged gunned down by his wife, Maria Vides, 39, at their home in Pittsburgh during domestic dispute.

Shatswell, who is the principal at the Pittsburg Adult Education Center, is currently on life support at a hospital and is not expected to survive, The Mercury News reported.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help provide for Shatswell's eight children.
