A heavily pregnant Muslim woman who had her hijab thrown onto the ground in a violent carjacking has recalled the terrifying encounter to police.
The 34-year-old was taking a stranger for a test drive in Sydney's west on Saturday after advertising her 2014 black Mercedes A45 AMGA for sale online.
But moments after letting the man in, the mother was thrown to the ground as the carjackers sped off with her son, 10, and daughter, eight, still inside.
'I screamed on the side of the road my scarf was off and everything,' the woman told police in a video posted online after the incident.
