911 call reveals the moment Conor McGregor tore a cellphone from a fan's hand, ...

A shaken clubber tells cops how Conor McGregor 'ripped' his cell phone from his hand then 'smashed' it on the floor in a 911 call obtained exclusively by DailyMailTV.

Ahmed Abdirzak, 22, also describes the moment he pleaded with the snarling UFC superstar to return his damaged $1,000 iPhone 8 during the early hours row last Monday.

'I said sir please, please. May I have my phone back?' he tells an emergency dispatcher from the Miami Beach Police Department.

'And what he done, he smashed it on the floor. He picked it up, you could see him putting it in his pocket and taking it into his vehicle,' he says.

McGregor, 30, is due in court next month on felony charges of criminal mischief and strong-armed robbery.

The more serious of the two, the robbery offense, carries a maximum prison sentence of 15 years and could scupper the Irishman's chances of getting another visa to fight in the US.

Abdirzak has admitted he tried to video McGregor as the pair left LIV nightclub at the swank Fontainebleau Hotel at around 5am.

But the British restaurant manager, who was on a Florida vacation for two weeks, denies antagonizing McGregor or saying anything to provoke him.

Abdirzak borrowed a bystander's phone afterwards to report the clash to cops, telling dispatcher Alejandro Alvarez he had just been robbed by an 'A-list celebrity'.

He says during the 5.41am call: 'My telephone mobile was taken by force. It was ripped out of my hand and taken to another vehicle.'

Pressed for further detail, he goes on: 'He didn't have a weapon but you know I wasn't able to get to him you know, because he was a A-list celebrity and there was a lot of guards around him.'

The dispatcher then asks: 'Hold on, the person who took your phone was a celebrity?'

Abdirzak tells Alvarez the suspect was 'Conor McGregor, the UFC fighter'.

'He was surrounded by his security, yes. And I begged him back for my phone, I said sir please, please. May I have my phone back?' he goes on.

'And what he done, he smashed it on the floor. He picked it up you could see him putting it in his pocket and taking it into his vehicle.'

Alvarez is heard entering notes into the police CAD (computer-aided dispatch) system as Abdirzak speaks, misspelling the alleged suspect's name as Connor McGregor.

'He smashed it on the floor then he put the smashed broken phone in his pocket?' the dispatcher asks.

Abdirzak replies: 'In his pocket. He didn't really smash it. He stepped on it and it wasn't smashing so he picked it up put it in his pocket and he went off.'

The call concludes with Abdirzak confirming that McGregor had left the scene in a black SUV, possibly a Cadillac, but he cannot say in which direction.

'I told you who the person is, McGregor, he's not there anymore, no. I told you he got into his car. He drove off,' he adds.

The 911 audio is consistent with the account Abdirzak, a father-of-one from Slough, just outside London,
