Ian Kazer, 29, was identified as the suspect in the horrific family dispute and was charged with second-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder. Cops say he was fired from his job earlier in the day then got into an argument with his parents in their Syosset Circle home on Wednesday. Pictured above in an old Facebook photo The argument turned violent and Kazer used a knife to attack his parents around 8.55pm, according to the New York Daily News. He stabbed his 66-year-old mother Frances Kazer in the upper torso and neck. She died from her injuries about an hour later at the hospital. The incident took place here in Ian Kazer's parents' Syosset Circle, Long Island home He also attacked his 69-year-old Howard Kazer father by stabbing him in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital and is currently in stable condition. Frances had worked as a teacher at John Bowne High School in Queens from 1978 until she retired in 2010.
