College scam Svengali scrambled for UCLA spot after USC misplaced faux soccer ...

A student whose parents have reportedly paid close to a million dollars to William Rick Singer and his charity were forced to start back at square one after their college entrance cheating plot went up in flames with one misplaced file.

Bruce and Davina Erickson worked to get their daughter Lauren into USC by claiming she was a soccer player, despite the fact that the girl had never before played at an elite level.

A clerical error was made however and her application accidentally went in with the general admission files, eliminating her chance of sneaking her way into that school.

Things quickly got dicey as the setback meant that the teenager was dangerously close to missing the fall enrollment deadline at most major colleges.

Most students commit to their college no later than April, but by early June there was still no plane in place for Lauren.

Then, at the last second, a scam spot on he UCLA soccer team solved the problem for both Singer and the Isacksons.

Lauren Isackson may not be a collegiate soccer star, but some notable NCAA names were involved in her landing that last second spot at UCLA.

'On or about May 20, 2016, Ali Khosroshahin, the former head coach of women’s soccer at USC, forwarded the falsified soccer profile, ACT score and transcripts on [Singer's] behalf to Jorge Salcedo, the head coach of UCLA men’s soccer,' states the complaint.

'Khosroshahin wrote: "soccer player/student manager. I have attached her profile, player explanation, transcripts for both high schools and ACT scores…will make sure she
