A staunch animal rights activist has slapped with a fine after storming a piggery and forcing it into lockdown.
Jamila Riley appeared in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday where she pleaded guilty to charges relating to the animal right protest.
The 22-year-old was part of a group of more than 100 people who targeted the Glasshouse Country Farms at Beerburrum in December last year.
