Champion mare Winx has won the George Rider Stakes, making it her 32nd win in a row.
But the triumph is bittersweet, with the win expected to be the final time she competes on her home track at Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney.
After an illustrious career - in which she has broken every Australian racing record and cemented herself among other champion horses, Black Caviar and Makybe Diva - Winx is expected to compete one final time before transitioning into retirement.
