A grandmother who has had two near-fatal drug overdoses uses heroin up to eight times a day at an injecting room in Melbourne.
Tanya Williams, 55, has been using heroin for six years and injects up to eight times a day at a Victorian-state-government funded injecting room in North Richmond.
Ms Williams, who is homeless, is one of 2,300 registered clients who use the medically supervised injecting room that opened last year.
