A 15-year-old girl was removed from a Spirit Airlines flight due to overbooking while her mother and brother sat at the back of the plane unaware of the decision.
The frightened teenager was flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Detroit, Michigan, in April of 2018, when she was asked to get off the plane just minutes before the scheduled take-off.
Now the girl's mother Stacy Giordano, who says she did not realise her daughter was missing until mid-way through the flight, is suing the airline for $75,000 and claims the schoolgirl
