Disturbing video shows Tesla autopilot 'repeatedly veering towards steel barrier on highway before human driver is forced to intervene to avoid a crash' The video shot Tuesday was posted on Reddit by Reddit user u/beastpilot The driver's captions said his Tesla P3D's autopilot had been working properly for the last six months up until recently On Tuesday, however, the autopilot repeatedly veered the sedan towards the steel median in the middle of a fork in the highway The driver disabled the autopilot and steered the vehicle to stay on the road In subsequent attempts, the autopilot steered the Tesla towards the median to the left of the driver, setting off the vehicle's proximity alarm The apparent glitch happens at the same point on the same highway
