A popular priest from Western Australia appears to have taken his own life last week amid claims of sexual abuse - leaving the Catholic community in shock.
Worshippers were in disbelief on Saturday as they learned Father Joseph Tran had passed away following allegations he had abused a now 13-year-old girl over several years.
His body was reportedly found on Thursday, the same day police launched an investigation into the allegations.
The girl's mother had allegedly confronted Father Tran earlier in the week, according to The Weekend West.
