Amanda Knox reveals she will 'face her fears' and return to Italy where she was convicted and then cleared of murdering her British roommate 12 years ago.
Ms Knox, 31, was speaking at the True Crime festival in New York telling the audience she wanted to help her healing process by returning to Perugia, Italy.
The American was convicted, but later cleared, of the murder of her British roommate Meredith Kercher, following years of legal battles in Perugia, Italy.
Ms Knox and her then boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, spent four years in an Italian prison and eight years on trial before finally being exonerated by the Italian Supreme Court in 2015.

Ms Knox, as reported by the Sun, said: 'It's very scary and every day you need to face up to something new that is terrifying but I've been lucky and I am healing.
