Avenatti says 90% of allegations against R. Kelly and are 'bulls**t'

Michael Avenatti allegedly claimed that 90 percent of sexual misconduct allegations against R. Kelly and Donald Trump are 'bulls**t' as he attempted to extort $25 million from Nike.

Avenatti, the attorney best known for representing porn actress Stormy Daniels in lawsuits against President Trump, was arrested on Monday for allegedly trying to extort Nike and embezzle a client's money to pay his own expenses.

He is accused of telling Nike's attorneys that he would release damaging information about the company's involvement in an alleged college basketball scam unless he received a $25 million payment.

During a meeting with Nike's lawyers last week, federal prosecutors say Avenatti touted his success representing clients with allegations against Trump and Kelly as proof of what would play out if he went public with the allegations.

'Now, 90 percent of that is going to be bulls**t because it's always bulls**t 90 percent of the time, always, whether it's R. Kelly or Trump, the list goes on and on.

'But 10 percent of it is actually going to be true, and then what's going to happen is that this is going to snowball... and every time we get more information, that's going to be the Washington Post, the New York Times, ESPN, a press conference, and the company will die - not die, but they are going to incur cut after cut after cut after cut, and that's what's going to happen as soon as this thing becomes
