An airline has apologised after it sparked outrage with a sleazy advertising slogan urging tourists to 'get off in Thailand'.
AirAsia used the tongue-in-cheek message - alluding to the country's vast sex industry - on buses and at the airport in Brisbane, Australia.
But the message, which was displayed over a night-time scene of tuk tuks and taxis, angered campaigners who said it promoted the sexual exploitation of women.
AirAsia was forced to apologise for this advertising campaign which was plastered across billboards and the airport in Brisbane, Australia, referencing Thailand's sex industry
AirAsia - which has a Thai subsidiary and is owned by Malaysian Tony Fernandes - later removed the ads and apologised for causing offence.
