This is brilliant moment a young surfer wows beachgoers by riding a wave completed unaided.

On what is believed to be just his second ever wave, the toddler makes a flawless run for the shore on his sister's very big surfboard.

The footage comes from Guaruja, a coastal resort near to São Paulo city in Brazil.

This small toddler was out for a day at the beach with his family, when he asked to have a go on his sister's surfboard.

With his parents happy to let him have a go, a family member helps get him onto the surfboard, and kindly points in the direction of shore.
