The unsuspecting driver caught the incident on her car dashcam in Grayslake, north of Chicago, U.S. She said: 'I was driving home from work then all of a sudden 'boom' a goose drops out of the sky.' The footage was taken on March 28. In the footage several more lucky geese can be seen flying past the power lines without receiving a shock. The last goose in the formation seems to be flying a little lower and touches the line causing it to deliver a powerful electric current to the bird. The goose can be seen as a small speck within a large ball of flame as the current rips through it - most likely killing it instantly Instantly igniting into a ball of flames and falling into the road, the bird most likely died instantly from the shock. Belly up on the side of the road the goose's prospects do not look good. The driver, travelling at speed, continues down the road.
