Former San Francisco 49er and Australian rugby star Jarryd Hayne has has reached an agreement with the woman accusing him of rape to have his deposition take place in Australia.
Hayne's alleged rape victim, known in court filings as JV, initially argued the 31-year-old father be questioned in California - where the alleged 2015 rape took place - ahead of their 2020 civil trial in San Jose.
But court documents exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com show that JV and Hayne reached an agreement to have the Australian footballer and his two friends Bryce Poisel and Timothy Dengate - both listed as witnesses in this case - questioned in Australia.
The deal notes that the three men have voluntarily made themselves available for deposition in Sydney and they 'cannot be compelled to attend a deposition in California' because they live in Australia.

The depositions will take place on April, 15, 16 and 17, 2019 in Sydney, Australia.

The documents state that the parties have agreed that Hayne will pay the court reporting fees for Poisel and Dengate and they will be deposed in Sydney to
