Rescuers from Vigili del fuoco, Italy’s fire and rescue service, were called to save the cow who had become stuck on the steep rocks of Sardinia. After securing the cow with a harness and a cover over its head to reduce distress it was safety and quickly lifted to giddy heights and moved back onto solid ground. The sight of a flying cow is not totally unheard of in Italy with it's rough terrain and cattle meaning similar situations have occurred. In July 2017 the Vigili del fuoco rescued an unfortunate cow who had plunged down a mountain in Verona Italy. Running away from perceived predators is often given as the reason for cows having got themselves into tricky situations. The helicopter hovers above the shore that the cow is stuck on as the harness is secured Up up and away! Lifted slowly but steadily away to safety the cow is totally unaware how it has found itself in this situation What is going on? The cow wore a mask to protect it from the nerve wracking sight of the giddy heights Share or comment on this article: All rights reserved for this news site dailymail and under his responsibility
