Bianna Golodryga is reportedly leaving CBS This Morning less than six months after she joined the program as a co-anchor.

Insiders confirmed to HuffPost that Golodryga has been moved off the program by the new president of CBS News, Susan Zirinsky, who felt that the show had too many anchors.

Zirinsky, who took the reins on March 1, appears to have followed the 'first one in, last one out' rule by axing Golodryga over the other anchors, Gayle King, John Dickerson and Norah O'Donnell.

Sources say the president had hoped to have Golodryga stay at CBS and work at other news programs, but the 40-year-old has decided to move on.

When joining CBS last fall, Golodryga signed a deal guaranteeing her slot as a co-anchor on This Morning which allows her to leave the network if she is removed from that role.

Rumors about Golodryga's potential departure from CBS This Morning have been circling for weeks as Zirinsky, the network's first female president, is expected to make a number of talent changes.

HuffPost reported that while this week's confirmation came as no surprise to many network insiders, staff at CBS and CNN, where Golodryga is a contributor, were stunned to hear that the co-anchor is being ousted after less than a year.
