It's been one wild story after another since a tell-all book about the women behind The View was released this week.
From backstage fights to ongoing feuds, Ramin Setoodeh's Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View hasn't been short on drama.
The bad blood between Joy Behar and Star Jones has never been a secret, but Setoodeh claims that Behar once spread a vicious rumor about her co-host in 2004.
An excerpt from US Weekly alleges that a janitor told Behar that he had swept up the carcass of a crushed mouse from the floor of Jones' dressing room.
Jones was reportedly so messy that her dressing room looked 'as if it were out of a Hoarders episode'.

The janitor said Jones must have stepped on the mouse and killed it 'without knowing'.
'Joy had grown to detest Star so much, she gleefully spread the story to some of her friends on the show,' Setoodeh writes. "'Can you believe it?" Joy would ask, thrilled.'
Behar reportedly had become jealous that Jones was becoming the show's most beloved co-host, not to mention the second most popular black woman on television after Oprah.
But Jones' star came crashing down after it was revealed she had lied to viewers about how she lost 75lb in six months.
Jones, who had tipped the scales at 307lb, began to undergo dramatic weight loss in 2003. She told the public at the time that she was simply dieting and exercising.

But in 2007 it was revealed that Jones had actually undergone gastric bypass surgery in 2003 and kept it a secret.
Jones told Setoodh that her co-hosts had pressured her for years to tell the truth about her weight loss. She believes both Behar and Walters were the ones who leaked her secret to the press.
'Barbara had surgeries that we were not talking about, Meredith's husband had MS and she did not want to talk about it,' Jones told Setoodh. 'I always felt it was our obligation to protect each other. And I don't think they did the same for me'.
Meanwhile, Sherri Shepherd revealed she cried for 'three years straight' when she first joined The View in 2007.
