The sexual assault took place in Seattle back in December 2018, but King County Sheriff's Office made the video on Tuesday along with a plea for the public’s help, having exhausted all of their leads. King County Sheriff's Office has released security footage showing a rape suspect (left) walking the victim to her front door in December 2018 in Seattle Footage shows the bogus ride-share driving opening the door with the victim's own keys, which he had in his pocket At around 12.15am, she went outside to catch the ride-share car that a friend had ordered for her to take her home. The women asked several ride-share drivers parked in the area if they were there for her until one of them identified himself as her chauffeur. The man led the woman to his black car, possibly a Dodge Charger, and took off. During the ride, the woman said the bogus ride-share driver pulled over near the 11400 block of 5th Avenue S in the White Center neighborhood and raped her. He then asked for her address and took her home. Security footage recorded by the victim’s Ring doorbell camera shows the suspect walking the woman’s to her front door and unlocking it with her own key, which he had in his pocket. He also hands the woman her cellphone back, which evidently he had taken away earlier. The suspect was described as 'possibly Hispanic' and speaking with an accent. Authorities have found no evidence to suggest that he ever worked for any ride-share service. Have YOU seen him? The suspect in the murder, 24-year-old Nathaniel Rowland, was arrested on Saturday and charged with kidnapping and murder. King County sheriff’s Office urges anyone who knows the identity of the man in the security video to call 206-296-3311.
