Two 15-year-old boys were arrested and booked on suspicion of murder in the shooting death of a 15-year-old girl whose body was found in an industrial park in Los Angeles last week, authorities announced on Wednesday.

One of the boys was arrested on Tuesday after SWAT team officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department went to his home on South Central Avenue in Compton to arrest him.

Drone footage tweeted by the LASD showed the 15-year-old suspect on the roof of an adjacent building. He fled there when he realized deputies were in the area to arrest him.

The boy eventually surrendered to authorities, according to KTLA-TV.

The first arrest in the case was made on Saturday.

The suspect, also a 15-year-old boy, was 'involved in the events,' according to the sheriff's department. No further details were forthcoming.

Detectives said both suspects confirmed their involvement in the killing of Bustos.

Both suspects are minors and thus have not been identified by authorities.

Investigators say Samantha Bustos-Vital, 15, of Gardena, California was discovered around 1.30am on March 25 laying face down in some bushes in the 500 block of West Victoria Street near a fenced-off area of Dominguez Hills Industrial Park.

Bustos suffered a gunshot wound to her upper torso. Bustos's uncle, Jose Bautistas, said she was 'bruised and cut.'

Her death has been ruled a homicide by the county coroner.

Authorities have yet to reveal how long her body was stashed in the industrial park or when she was killed.
