The National Crime Agency (NCA) have arrested three Brits on suspicion of facilitating illegal immigration after eight migrants landed on the Kent coast today.

The NCA have confirmed that three British people have been arrested in Folkestone, in Kent, shortly after a boat was recovered, and eight migrants have been detained after being found on a beach at Samphire Hoe, near Dover, in Kent.

They are the latest group to arrive after hundreds of migrants have made the perilous trip from Calais to Dove since last November - with 40 trying to enter the UK in just a fortnight.
