Texas mother, 58, 'stabbed to death in her own front yard by her male neighbor'

A Texas mother has died after she was allegedly stabbed to death in her own front yard by her male neighbor who is said to have 'snapped' during a late night row. 

Angelina Gailey, 58, died on Wednesday evening following the altercation, her devastated family have said.   

She was stabbed in the chest in her own front yard and rushed to hospital where she later died, officers said. 

Police were called to a duplex in East Houston where Angelina had lived on the bottom floor for at least a year and a half. 

Tragic Angelina had alcohol in her system, police say. They think this may have played a role in the incident after bottles could be seen in an upstairs window of the home. 

Angelina's son, Patrick, told ABC13 and Click2Houston that his mom was never worried about her safety and had not mentioned any problems with her neighbor on the top
