Mick Jagger has successfully undergone heart surgery and recovering well, according to friends of the 75-year-old Rolling Stones frontman.
Jagger had the heart valve procedure and is recovering in New York-Presbyterian hospital, with nurses monitoring him closely for any signs of complications, Billboard reports.
The minimally invasive procedure allows Jagger to avoid major surgery, with doctors repairing the defective heart valve using a a catheter that accesses a major artery without having to open the chest.
