Hulking NRL star Tevita Pangai Junior could be set for a spell on the sidelines after he flattened one of the game's most talented players with a 'cheap shot'.
The 113kg Brisbane Broncos player faced a barrage of criticism for the belligerent tackle on Sydney Roosters star Cooper Cronk during Thursday night's match at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Despite the 35-year-old having already passed the ball, Pangai Junior slammed Cronk to the ground, in what has been labelled as a 'dog shot' by commentator Andrew Johns.

'It's a dead-set cheap shot,' Johns said during his commentary on Channel 9.
'Cronk lets the ball go, and he hits him in the back. I think that should be a sin bin – it's a cheap shot!
'You're giving away 30kg and a front-rower smashes into your kidney. Watch the whiplash on his neck. It's a dog shot,' he added.
