Mother pens emotional post mourning daughter Cassidy Trevan who killed herself

Schoolyard bullies allegedly orchestrated Cassidy Trevan's gang rape when she was just 13 years old. Two years later, in 2015, the then 15-year-old from Melbourne commit suicide

The mother of a 15-year-old girl who killed herself after relentless bullying has opened up four years on about the pain of losing her.

Cassidy Trevan took her own life in 2015, two years after bullies at her Melbourne school allegedly organised for her to be gang raped aged just 13.

Friday would have been Cassidy's 19th birthday and her mother Linda Trevan said she cried herself to sleep thinking of the pain the teenager suffered.

'My sweet, gentle, fragile teen-angel... you didn't even make it to 16,' she wrote in an emotional Facebook post early on Friday morning.

'I cried myself to sleep last night thinking of all you went through, how much pain you endured, and how painful it is for me to have to go on without you.

'I'm never going to get used to life without you, and I'll miss you every minute of every day, until I take my last breath.

'You are gone, but you used to be mine, and it was an absolute privilege to be your Mum. I love you so much my Forever 15.'

Ms Trevan earlier found two handwritten letters Cassidy wrote before she killed herself, sharing the torment she felt over the years following the alleged attack.

'I get people I've never met contacting me on Facebook calling me a sl*t. I've moved schools, I've moved house and I'm still being bullied,' the letter reads.

'I was raped. Just last night
