A skull recovered in Michigan has been identified as that of a beheading victim who was killed, along with his pregnant girlfriend in 2014, after meeting a man in a sex-for-cash deal.
Authorities say Charles Oppenneer, 25, was identified by his dental records, as reported by Fox News. Oppenneer's skull was found on private property in northern Kent County, four years after he was murdered.
Signs of trauma to the skull indicate Oppenneer was likely killed by gunshot, Wyoming Department of Public Safety Captain James Maguffee said in a press release.
